Finding a skilled and capable engineer seems impossible after interviewing endless candidates who just weren't "it" for your company? Try one of our five engineering personality and aptitude assessments and find the perfect engineer for you. The assessment identifies candidates with a likable team-oriented personality who will be able to communicate with their colleagues and fit in your company culture, work hard and diligently on their assignments, and who have the mental acuity to handle intellectually challenging tasks and deliver only the best results.
Do not know which one of the five assessments best meets your needs? See the Engineer Test Comparison Table below to understand what each assessment offers.
The assessment has four components - a 20-minute test on mechanical reasoning, a 134-item personality test, a 44-item general mental ability test (for verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and abstract reasoning), and 34 open-ended sentences for which candidates must provide narrative responses. It usually takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
The assessment report for the Engineer III Test will provide you with a graphic representation of scores in covered areas, aptitude results and their explanation, narrative responses with instructions on how to approach them, candidate's strengths and developmental concerns, and suggestions for interview questions.
